What is Attila?

Attila is Switzerland’s first boutique boatel. It is a floating boutique hotel and small cruise ship with 9 double cabins that takes guests on a journey across Lake Murten, Lake Neuchâtel, and Lake Biel.

Attila in a nutshell

Attila combines an exclusive mini-cruise in Switzerland with the comfort of a boutique hotel, regional cuisine, personalized service, and the tranquil countryside of the Three Lakes Region.

What does "Boutique Boatel" mean?

A boatel is a hotel on the water. At Attila, this means: Guests sleep in their own cabins on board, have breakfast on the ship, use the Captain’s Lounge, enjoy the upper deck, and at the same time travel through one of Switzerland’s most beautiful lake regions.

Where is Attila going?

Attila is cycling in the Three Lakes Region. The main lakes are Lake Murten, Lake Neuchâtel, and Lake Biel. Many tours begin and end in Muntelier at the Hotel Bad Murtensee.

What kinds of trips does Attila offer?

Attila offers regular 2-night cruises, wine cruises, and exclusive overnight charters. The Time-out Cruises take place from Tuesday to Thursday, and the Weekend Cruises from Friday to Sunday. Wine Cruises combine cruising with Swiss wine culture and regional wine festivals. With an overnight charter, the entire boatel is booked exclusively for private or business events.

Who is Attila suitable for?

Attila is ideal for couples, friends, families, guests aged 50 and over, wine lovers, companies, boards of directors, teams, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and private groups. Attila is particularly well-suited for people who are not looking for a loud, mass-market experience, but rather tranquility, style, nature, enjoyment, and personalized service.

What makes Attila special?

The Attila is small, intimate, and personal. With just 9 double cabins, there’s no anonymous cruise ship atmosphere. The journey is peaceful, intimate, high-quality, and deeply rooted in the region. Guests experience a cruise in Switzerland without a long journey and without large crowds.

How many cabins does the Attila have?

The Attila has 9 double cabins. Each cabin features a private bathroom with a shower, a sitting area, a refrigerator, a safe, a TV, a radio, an intercom, and individually controlled air conditioning.
