The natural paradise of St. Peter's Island
St. Peter's Island is a symbol of tranquility, open spaces, and nature right in the middle of Lake Biel. It is one of the places where the leisurely pace of travel aboard the MS Attila is particularly evident.
A magical place. St. Peter's Island is steeped in history, having been visited in the past by writers and philosophers such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Goethe. The old monastery building now serves as a restaurant and hotel. The vineyard, which was already cultivated in the 12th century, still produces excellent wine today.
Our tip:
A leisurely walk through the nature reserve with a dip in the lake.
